Fill her heart with Your love, so full that only love will spill out even when times get tough. Help her to never to grow weary of doing good, but to reflect the Great Physician as she soothes away pain with hugs, kisses and tenderness. Sustain her energy and her wits, as she wakes in the middle of the night, as she measures out medicine and tries to keep straight the many packages with their rightful owners. Give her wisdom as she monitors symptoms and makes decisions on behalf of her children, whom you have entrusted in her care. Lord, thank you for the opportunity for ______to serve you. You have made all of her children, fearfully and wonderfully. You know every part of them, inside and out. You have even made strep and impetigo.
