In a relationship? Please take five minutes of your time to watch this clip from CCEF Executive Director Tim Lane. I have read the book, “Relationships: A Mess Worth Making”, and recommend it highly.

  1. Too good of a post (and video!) to not have any comments.

I’ve come to my own conclusion independently that having a proper loving relationship with a girl was definitely worth the mess it would require. So serendipitously I fell into a relationship situation with an absolutely fantastic woman that was nothing like I would have ever envisioned in a girlfriend. It became quickly apparent to us and our circles of influence that we were really made for each other, but she’s hung me out to dry because, to be blunt, it really feels like she’s scared to take the plunge into a serious relationship because she’s never done it before (Neither have I, but that isn’t scaring me [a lot]!). Add to that her propensity to never missing a chance to blow a good chance for her life, and I’ve really got something on my hands.

So this video was a real confirmation that the relationship that I’m looking for will be messy, but it will be worth it. Now just to figure out what to do with the girl from my education class that decided to get really friendly with me last night after class…
